The Z-Wave Alliance is united in its support of Z-Wave as the enabling technology for the coming age of anywhere/everywhere wireless control. Our membership is comprised of market leaders from a broad landscape of residential and commercial products that provide millions of consumers with automation solutions for increased comfort, convenience, safety and security.
Z-Wave based systems are easy to install and use. They finally make wireless device and system control practical and affordable for the consumer. For manufacturers, Z-Wave offers a powerful ecosystem for innovative applications. Light overhead in cost and power consumption make technology practical in almost any sphere of product development.
Most importantly, Z-Wave is an interoperable* standard. Products from all members are able to operate seamlessly with each other, regardless of brand.

The Alliance encourages other leading home control manufacturers to develop products utilizing the Z-Wave standard.
