Saving energy with the touch of a button: Both the USB stick and remote control unit from TrickleStar enable interaction with other compatible Z-Wave products within a home network. Z-Wave USB-Stick: Hardware Interface for PCs and Gateways
The Z-Wave USB Stick integrates allows all devices in a Z-Wave network to be controlled and monitored by PCs, Macs, notebooks, set-top boxes or gateways. What's more, it's compatible with management software from manufacturers like HomeSeer, Embedded Automation, 4Home and ControlThink. The stick is supported by the Windows (98, SE, ME, 2003, XP and Vista), Mac OS (10.1, 10.5 or higher) and Linux RedHat (7.3, 8.0, 9.0) operating platforms. There is no complex installation process, since the device is ready for operation immediately after plug-in. Z-Wave products within a range of 30 meters can then be monitored and controlled.
Z-Wave Remote Control: Control from Anywhere in the Home
The Z-Wave Remote Control unit from TrickleStar enables control of all compatible home control devices. Dimmers, switches, rolling shutters, etc., can be controlled conveniently at the touch of a button, and from any location in the home. The remote control unit has a configuration and user mode, as well as two on/off and up/down function selection switches. Using configuration mode, remote operation can be quickly and easily customized for interaction with other Z-Wave devices within the network. What's more, the device promises a long operating life, since it contains a lithium battery chargeable over USB. The TrickleStar Z-Wave Remote Control is excellent for use as an inclusion controller for gateway devices and setting up and configuring Z-Wave network.
